I'm a member of a league — where do I start?

Doing this from your phone

Everything on this page works on a phone. Three buttons sit along the bottom — Leagues, My Team and More — and My Team is your home: your roster, XP, trades and bets all hang off the Team Pages menu at the top of your team page. The green League button your commissioner may mention ("the green slider") is for people who run the league — you are not missing anything. The full tour is in Getting around on your phone.

The first five minutes

1. Join the league's Discord server. Your commissioner sends the invite. Everything starts there.
2. Claim a team. Look for the channel your commissioner set up for it, or ask them which teams are open. Once your claim is approved the bot gives you your team's role, and your name shows up as that team's owner everywhere.
3. Open your team page. On the website that is your league's dashboard; on your phone it is the Franchise Hub app. Everything below lives there. Run /website in your league's Discord for a button that takes you straight to it (links to your team page and the league dashboard on the website).

What you actually do week to week

Play your game and report it. Your commissioner will tell you how they want scores handed in. Most leagues let the bot pull results straight from the game, so you may not have to do anything at all.

Earn and spend your XP. You earn XP for playing, for winning, and for whatever else your commissioner rewards — daily challenges pay too, if your league has them switched on. You spend it on upgrading your players: run /upgrade in Discord, or open a player from your Roster page and buy the boost there. Check /prices first — every league sets its own costs. See where your XP went. Every change is written down with a reason. On your phone or computer, open My Team and pick XP History from the Team Pages menu at the top; in Discord, /profile shows your team's XP at a glance. And a balance below zero is not a glitch — spending and penalties are taken in full on purpose, so a negative number means the team owes XP and earns its way back up.

Make trades. You build the offer, the other owner accepts it, and depending on your league a commissioner may need to approve it. See Trades.

The things members ask about most

• "Where did my XP go?" Every change is written down. Your league can post receipts into a channel so you can see exactly what you earned and spent. Ask your commissioner to check the XP records if a number looks wrong.
• "My upgrade hasn't happened yet." Most leagues have a commissioner apply upgrades inside the game by hand, so there is a wait between asking and it showing up. Your league can turn on a message that tells you the moment it is done.
• "Why can't I trade for that player?" Leagues set their own limits — how many players can move at once, how much XP can be included, and whether a commissioner has to approve. See Limits.

If something is wrong

Your commissioner runs your league and can fix almost anything — XP, teams, trades, roles. Start with them. If the bot itself is misbehaving, they can reach the Franchise Hub support server from their own dashboard.
