How do I get around Franchise Hub on desktop?

The map

Eight Hubs. They always appear in this order, and the order never changes, so it is worth learning where things live once.

Getting around

The sidebar sits on the left of every page and stays there. It has a League group at the top with your server in it, then the eight Hubs underneath.

Click a Hub and it opens. Across the top of the Hub you get a tab strip — one tab per area of that Hub. The tab you are on is underlined. Hubs with a lot in them have a lot of tabs, and that is normal; you are not missing a second menu.

Two things worth knowing before you change anything:

• Each section saves on its own button. A Hub can have five or six Save buttons down the page. Filling in two sections and pressing the second Save saves the second section only.
• Nothing is hidden behind a padlock you can open. If you cannot see a Hub, it was not given to you. See "What you can see" near the bottom.

Overview

The front door. It tells you whether the league is set up and healthy, and it is where the league itself is configured rather than any one feature.

• Start Here — three setup steps that tick themselves as you finish them. You do not mark them done by hand.
• League at a Glance — Health, League Data, and the Commissioner Panel.
• License & Billing — owner only. Helpers do not see this at all.
• EA Connection — how the bot reads your league. If this goes stale, most of Gameday quietly stops updating, so check here first when data looks old.
• Branding, League Rules, Your Teams.
• Danger Zone — owner only, and it does what the name says.

The mistake people make here is looking for their account settings somewhere else. This Hub absorbed the old Owner Hub and My Account; there is nowhere else to look.

Features

The switchboard for the whole league. Everything here is a switch, not a setting — the settings for each feature live in that feature's own Hub.

XP is a parent switch. Betting, Wheel Spin and Daily Challenges sit under it. Turn XP off and those three go with it, and they say so on screen rather than silently disappearing. If someone reports that Wheel Spin vanished, this is almost always why.

Saving here ticks the third Start Here step on Overview.

Front Office

Who is allowed to do what.

• Special Roles — the roles the bot treats as meaningful.
• League Access — the important one. It holds the list of people who may change settings, the Tab Access grid that decides which Hubs and tabs a helper can open, Commish Center access, and the two Discord panels you can post into your server.
• Admin Commands — which commands each role may run.
• Self-Pick Roles — reaction roles and timezone roles.

Tab Access fails open: a helper sees everything until the owner actually ticks a narrower list. So a helper who cannot find a Hub was not given it here, and nothing is broken.

Teams

Everything about who owns what.

Team Assignments, Team Roles, Team Claims, Trades, Free Agency, Draft & Scouting, Relocation, Retirements.

Team Roles is where the bot learns which Discord role means which team. Get this wrong and team-specific features look broken everywhere else, because the bot cannot tell who owns which club.

Gameday

The week itself, from creating channels to posting the story afterwards.

Game Channels, Game of the Week, Player of the Week, Power Rankings, Playoffs & Predictions, After the Game, Stat Leaders, Newswire, Force Wins.

Game Channels is the busiest tab in the product. It creates a channel per fixture, posts the banner, and cleans up afterwards. It is also where you set the message the reminder sends and whether it pings both owners.

XP

Points, and everything bought with them.

Overview, Earning, Upgrades, Wheel Spin, Betting, Rules & Setup, Daily Challenges, Pending Upgrades, Achievements, Tournaments.

Two things that surprise people:

• Prices and limits are separate tabs. Setting a price does not set a cap.
• Raffle has no tab yet. It is reached as a link from XP → Overview.

Moderation

Keeping the server tidy.

Roster Protection, Spam Control, Joining & Leaving, Active Check, Member Log, Tickets, Moderation Log, Player Reputation.

Active Check asks every team to confirm they are still around. Running it again while one is already going starts over — everyone has to check in again — and it tells you so before you commit.

Extras

The things that reach outside Discord.

Twitch, Recap, RSS Feeds, Assistant, Messenger, Recruitment, DM Settings.

Twitch is worth a note: a streamer appears in your league's channel list by running the link command in Discord and holding a team role. Lose the team role and the channel drops off on its own.

Your team pages

Separate from the Hubs. This is what a team owner uses, and it is grouped the way the product groups it.

• Team — Dashboard, Roster, Schedule, Matchup, Notifications. Notifications carries an unread badge.
• League — Standings, Power Rankings, Stat Leaders, Awards, Newswire.
• Economy — My Upgrades, XP History, Propose a Trade, My Trades, Trade Block, Sportsbook, Wheel Spin, Free Agency.
• Progress — Daily Challenges, Achievements, Twitch, League Rules.

Economy and Progress rows disappear when the league turns the matching feature off, so treat them as "if your league uses this".

What you can see

Franchise Hub shows you what you have, rather than showing you locked doors. That is deliberate, and it means an empty menu is an answer, not a fault.

• A member with no team sees Leagues, an invitation to join a team, More, Report a Player and My Flags. No Hubs at all. There is no hidden menu.
• A team owner gets the whole team surface above. Still no Hubs. If the league is not on Elite, the My Team row shows a padlock.
• A commissioner or helper gets the Hubs, narrowed by the Tab Access list the owner ticked in Front Office → League Access. License & Billing and the Danger Zone stay owner-only, and a helper sees a short note in their place.
• A league not on Elite still sees Moderation and Extras in full. They are not greyed out — they say in words that saving needs a bigger plan.

Common problems

• My change did not save. Each section has its own Save button. Press the one belonging to the section you edited.
• A whole feature disappeared. Check Features. XP is a parent switch and takes Betting, Wheel Spin and Daily Challenges with it.
• My helper cannot see a Hub. Front Office → League Access → Tab Access. Only a list the owner actually saved can hide anything.
• The data looks old. Overview → EA Connection. When that link goes stale the league keeps working but stops learning anything new.
• A team feature behaves oddly for one club. Teams → Team Roles. The bot matches owners to clubs by role.
• I cannot find my account settings. They are on Overview. That Hub absorbed the old Owner Hub.
