How do I set up tournaments?

Where to find it
On the website: Dashboard sidebar → League → XP, then the Tournaments tab.
In the app: More → XP, then pick Tournaments from the XP sections dropdown at the top of the page.
How tournaments work here
One board sits in a channel you pick. Members tap Start, Browse or Help right on it, and every tournament they open gets its own set of channels under the category you choose. Starting, cancelling and officiating all happen from the board in Discord — the website tab is the settings side.
Step by step
- Under Where the board lives, pick the Tournament channel and, if you want, a Category for tournament channels — each new tournament gets its own channels under it. Leave the category blank to use whichever category the board itself sits in.
- Press Post the board. If a board is already up somewhere else, this moves it.
- Write your Tournament rules — this is what members see when they tap Help on the board, up to 1000 characters — and press Save rules.
- If you want, change What the board says — the heading, the lines under it, and the rules printed on the board itself. Yours already has wording; change it only if you want to, then press Save what the board says and post the board again so your channel catches up.
- Set the Entry fees members can pick — the XP entry fees the board offers, separated by commas, up to 24, each 1 to 100,000. Free is always included, and leaving it blank keeps the standard list. Press Save entry fees.
- Under How your tournaments run, choose whether every match gets its own thread, whether a message posts when a match finishes and who gets notified, whether winners earn a token to spend on Wheel Spin, and the prizes — the usual split, or your own places and amounts. Press Save how tournaments run.
Worth knowing
- The board is the front door. The Your tournaments list on this tab is read-only, newest first — start, cancel and officiate from the board itself in Discord.
- Set the rules before you post. Rules that change after entry is the fastest way to an argument.
- It does not replace your season. Tournaments are their own bracket and do not touch your league standings.
- Whoever starts a tournament can still change its prizes for that one tournament — your settings here are the starting point.
Common problems
- I cannot find the Tournaments tab. It is on the XP page, and the whole XP page disappears when the XP feature is switched off in Features. If you are a helper, the owner may not have given you this area — that is set in Front Office → League Access.
- I changed the board's wording but Discord still shows the old text. Press Post the board again — the channel catches up when the board is re-posted.
- The board says it is set but points at a channel the bot cannot see. Pick a new Tournament channel and post the board again.
