Where did the Roles Hub go?
There is no Roles Hub page any more. Everything it held still exists — each piece now lives with its own feature, split between the Front Office, Teams and Moderation Hubs.
Where each piece lives now
Open the Hub from the sidebar, then pick the tab. On a phone, open More, tap the Hub, and pick the tab from the Choose a section dropdown.
- Special roles (commissioner, waitlist, League Member, Active, Inactive) — Front Office → Special Roles.
- Team roles (which Discord role means which team) — Teams → Team Roles.
- Activity tracking (who counts as active, the daily Active and Inactive role hand-out) — Moderation → Active Check. See How do I track member activity?.
- Reaction roles and timezone roles (roles members grab themselves) — Front Office → Self-Pick Roles.
- Grief detection — now called Roster Protection, on Moderation → Roster Protection. See How do I use Roster Protection?.
- Blocking invite links — Moderation → Spam Control.
- Stopping one member's player alerts — Moderation → Member Log.
The one thing that breaks all of this
Discord will not let a bot touch a role that sits above its own in the server's role list. Not "sometimes" — never.
So before you spend an evening wondering why nothing is being handed out: open Discord's role list, find the bot's role, and drag it above every role you want it to manage. This single check fixes more "the bot isn't doing anything" reports than everything else put together.
The bot also needs Discord's Manage Roles permission.
Common problems
- Nothing changed for members. Nine times in ten it is the bot's role sitting below the roles it is trying to manage. Check that first.
- I cannot see one of these Hubs. A Hub you cannot see was not given to you — ask the licence owner to grant it in Front Office → League Access.
