How do I settle a week of bets again?
Use the Settle A Week Again card on the XP Hub's Betting tab. Pick the week and press Settle That Week Again — every bet and every head-to-head wager on that week is checked against the scores as they stand now, and any payout that should change is put right. It is safe to run more than once.
Where to find it
On the website: click XP in the sidebar, then the Betting tab at the top of the page. Settle A Week Again is one of the cards on that tab.
In the app: tap More, then XP, then pick Betting from the XP sections dropdown.
When to use it
Everyday settling happens on its own — a bet grades the moment its game is final in your league export. This card is for the exceptions:
- A score arrived late or was corrected after bets had already paid out.
- A whole week never graded because the export was behind at the time.
- A head-to-head wager is stuck even though its game has a final score — this card is the fix for that too.
Step by step
- Make sure the scores are right first. Export your league from the Madden companion app if they are stale — the re-run reads what is there now and cannot fix a score that is still wrong.
- Open XP → Betting and find the Settle A Week Again card.
- Pick the week under Which Week.
- Press Settle That Week Again.
- You land back on the Betting tab with a message telling you how it went — how many bets were checked, how many won, lost and drew, and whether any head-to-head wagers were paid out too.
Is it safe to run twice?
Yes. A bet that already came out the same way is left alone, and a wager that already settled stays settled, so re-running never doubles anyone's winnings. The card says so on screen: nothing is ever paid out twice.
Common problems
- It says to connect my league first. Bets are graded against real games from your Madden league, so a week cannot be re-run without one connected.
- It said 0 bets checked. Either nobody bet that week, or nothing changed — both perfectly normal. If you were expecting a fix, check you picked the right week.
- Nothing changed and the scores are still wrong. The bot only knows what your last export told it. Export again from the companion app, then re-run the week.
- One bet is stuck rather than a whole week. There is no per-bet settle control any more — run the week it belongs to. Bets that are already right are left alone, so it does no harm.
- A head-to-head wager is stuck. Same answer: run the week its game belongs to. Wagers on finished games settle in the same pass; games not yet played are skipped.
