There is also a switch under that picker, labelled Post The Results. It is on unless you turn it off — and off means nowhere at all.
Where to find it
On the website: open your league, click XP in the sidebar, then open the Betting tab. Look for the Where Betting Happens card.
On your phone: More → XP, then pick Betting from the dropdown at the top of the page.
If XP is missing from your menu, the XP feature is switched off in Features. Betting runs on XP, so it comes and goes with that switch.

Step by step
- Decide whether results deserve their own channel. Busy leagues usually say yes.
- If so: on the Betting tab, find the Where Betting Happens card and set Where Results Are Posted.
- Leave it empty to have results post in the slips channel instead.
- Press the save button at the bottom of that card.
Splitting them is usually right
Slips and results are different kinds of message. Slips are placed all week; results all land at once when games finish. Put them together and a Sunday night grading run buries every slip anybody placed.
There is one combination worth knowing: leave Where Members Place Bets empty and set this one, and you get private betting with public results. People find out who won without anybody seeing what was risked.
If neither picker is set, bets still settle and the XP still moves — there is just no post announcing it.
Read this before you turn it off
Post The Results off means results are posted nowhere — not in the results channel, and not in the slips channel either.
That is worth spelling out, because emptying the picker does not silence results: empty simply sends them to the slips channel instead. The switch is the only real off.
Everything else carries on exactly as before:
- Bets are still graded the moment the game finishes.
- Every payout is still made, and every balance still moves.
- Members can still see their own bets with
/bet. - Both channel choices stay saved, so switching it back on needs no setting up.
Common problems
- Results are not posting. Check Post The Results is on. If it is, games have to finish and be exported before there is anything to grade. No export, no results.
- Results posted in the slips channel. This picker is empty, which is what it does. Set it — or, if you wanted no results posted at all, turn Post The Results off instead.
- A bet never graded. The game it was on has not come back as finished. Advance and export.
- A score was corrected after bets paid out. Use the Settle A Week Again card on the same Betting tab: pick the week under Which Week and press Settle That Week Again. It also re-checks any stuck head-to-head wagers on that week. It is safe to run twice — nobody is paid the same bet twice.
- I can't see the Betting tab. Ask your league owner — the tabs a helper can open are set in Front Office → League Access, in the Tab Access list.
