How do I fix a bet that will not settle?
Bets settle themselves the moment their game is final in your league export — so a stuck bet almost always means the export is behind. Export your league from the companion app, then use Settle A Week Again on the XP Hub's Betting tab to re-check the whole week.
Step by step
- Check the game really has been played. A bet on an unplayed game is not stuck — it is waiting.
- Export your league from the Madden companion app. The bot can only grade against the scores your last export gave it.
- On the website, click XP in the sidebar, then the Betting tab.
- Find the Settle A Week Again card, pick Which Week, and press Settle That Week Again.
- Read the message at the top of the page — it tells you how many bets were checked and how they came out.
It is safe to run as many times as you like. A bet that already settled the same way is left alone, so nobody is paid twice. The same run also re-checks any stuck head-to-head wagers on that week.
Why parlays sit open longer than single bets
A parlay grades only once every pick's game has finished. One unplayed game holds the whole parlay open no matter how the other picks went. So an open parlay from weeks ago usually is not broken — it has a pick riding on a game nobody has played yet.
What about head-to-head wagers?
Wagers settle on their own when the game's result comes through your export, and a challenge that is never accepted simply expires without moving any XP. If a wager is sitting unsettled, the fix is the same: export the league so the result arrives. And if it still will not budge, Settle A Week Again now re-checks stuck head-to-head wagers along with the bets — when any pay out, the result message adds a line like "2 head-to-head wagers paid out too." It is just as safe to repeat: a wager that already settled is left alone.
What happened to the old Live tab
The standalone Betting page — with its Live tab and the settle buttons on each row — has been retired. There is no per-bet settle control on the new dashboard; Settle A Week Again is the tool, and it handles the whole week at once.
Common problems
- It said 0 bets processed. Either nobody bet that week, or nothing changed — both normal. Check you picked the right week.
- The scores are still wrong after settling. The bot only knows what your last export told it. Export again from the companion app, then re-run the week.
- Members got paid twice. They did not — a bet that already came out the same way is skipped. If a balance really did jump, something else moved it; check the member's XP history.
