How do I give one team different XP prices?

Give one team different prices from everybody else. Open the XP Hub, go to the Earning tab, open One Team At A Time, and press One Team's XP Costs. Pick a team tile and you get an editor where each price can either follow the league default or be set just for them.

Where to find it

On the website: open the XP Hub in the sidebar, then the Earning tab. Open the One Team At A Time section and press One Team's XP Costs.

On your phone: More → XP, pick Earning from the Choose a section dropdown, then the same One Team At A Time section.

What this is for

Your league has one set of prices — what things cost and what rewards pay. Everything here is about the rare case where one team should not be on those numbers.

The page that opens, Team Economy Overrides, starts as a chooser, not an editor. Each tile is a team, and the small print on it tells you how many prices that team has had changed — or that it has no overrides. Press a tile and the real editor opens.

Step by step

  1. Set the league-wide numbers first. Those live in the XP Hub itself — each price sits on the tab of the feature it belongs to. That is the right place for any change you want everyone to feel.
  2. Only if one team genuinely needs different numbers, open One Team's XP Costs and press that team's tile under Pick a team.
  3. In the editor, every price shows whether it is following the league-wide value or set for this team. Change the ones you mean and leave the rest alone.
  4. Each changed price gets a reset that puts it back to following the league.

A team's own price wins

A per-team price wins over the league-wide value. Anything without an override falls through to the league-wide setting. So once a price is set for a team, changing the league number does nothing to them — until you reset their override.

Why you probably should not use this

Different prices for different teams is a hard thing for a league to understand, and members compare notes. The usual reasons people come here — a rebuilding team, a punishment, a handicap — are all better done as a one-off XP adjustment than as a permanent price difference nobody can see.

The honest use is a league that has agreed a rule, in public, that some teams pay different amounts.

Common problems

  • It says no team roles are set up for this server yet. The tiles are built from your team roles. Until those exist there is nothing to press. The page links you straight to Teams → Team Roles — set them up there first, then come back.
  • I changed the league numbers and this team did not move. That is what an override is. Once a price is set for a team it stops following the league until you reset it.
  • A team has overrides I did not set. Open the tile — the editor shows exactly which prices are overridden and lets you reset each one.
  • I want to change everyone. Then you want the league-wide prices in the XP Hub, not the tiles.
