How do I turn on Recruitment ads?
Turn on the Recruitment Ad switch on the Features page, then write your ad on the Extras page's Recruitment tab. The bot builds a recruitment poster from your live records and open teams, with a fresh invite link on it. It is for advertising your league outside it.
Where to find it
On the website: open your league, click Features in the sidebar, and find the Recruitment Ad switch. The ad itself is written on Extras, under the Recruitment tab.
In the app: tap More, then Features, and find the Recruitment Ad switch.

Step by step
- Make sure your league has exported, so the records on the poster are real.
- Go to Features and turn Recruitment Ad on.
- Open Extras in the sidebar and choose the Recruitment tab. Under Your League Ad, fill in the Headline, Tagline, Selling Points and Sign-Off, then click Save The Ad.
- Generate one with
/league_adand look at it before you post it anywhere.
The same tab also has Your Public Listing — your league's page on the public Franchise Finder, for people who are still looking. Worth filling in while you are there.
It advertises what is actually true
The poster is built from your exported league: real records, real standings, and the teams genuinely open right now. That is the point — a recruitment post that lists teams which were taken a month ago wastes everybody's time.
The invite link is generated fresh each time and lasts a week, so an old poster circulating somewhere does not keep letting people in forever.
If it shows no open teams, that is your league data saying every seat is taken. Open teams come from your Madden league itself — teams on autopilot or with no owner in your latest export.
Common problems
- It says no open teams and I know there are some. Open is read from your Madden league data: a team counts as open when your export shows it on autopilot or without an owner. A team a human quietly abandoned but still owns in Madden reads as taken. Export again after anything changes.
- The records are stale. The poster uses your last export. Export again.
- The invite expired. Invite links last a week. Generate a new poster — each one carries a fresh link.
- The ad will not save. The Recruitment Ad switch is off. The page warns you and points back to Features; turn it on and save again.
- I can't see this setting. If you are a helper rather than the licence owner, the owner controls which pages you see under Front Office → League Access. Ask them to grant you access.
