EA outages usually clear on their own, and the bot refreshes your league automatically every 2 hours, so everything catches up by itself once EA recovers.

How to tell it's EA

  • An export or refresh fails and the message says EA's Madden servers are having trouble right now and that it is on EA's side. That message means exactly what it says.
  • The message says EA is currently refusing requests for this league. Also EA's side — it is a limit EA has put on, not an account problem. The bot keeps retrying quietly and picks up on its own when EA lifts it.
  • Scores and standings have stopped moving for the whole league at once, not just one team, and nobody changed anything.

When EA has a bad day, every Madden league everywhere feels it at the same time — if your league mates in other leagues see the same thing, that settles it.

How to tell it's NOT EA

  • The message says your EA connection has run out. That one IS on your side, and it is a two-minute fix: open your league's Overview page, open the EA Connection section, and press Reconnect EA Account. EA expires these logins from time to time — it is routine.
  • Only your league is affected while others are fine. Start with My export isn't working.

What to do during an EA outage

  1. Wait. Most EA wobbles clear within minutes; the longer ones clear within hours.
  2. Do not reconnect your EA account over and over — if the message says the trouble is on EA's side, reconnecting changes nothing.
  3. When things look back to normal, run /export current in Discord to catch up right away — or just wait, because the automatic refresh does the same thing on its own.
