Who can open your league's settings

Three groups, and it is worth knowing which is which because they are not the same list:

  • You, the person who bought the licence. Always. Nothing can lock you out.
  • Anyone holding your commissioner role in Discord. No extra step — give someone the role and they can open the dashboard.
  • Anyone you add by name under Front Office → League Access.

Your co-commissioner role is deliberately not on that list. It is for running games inside Discord. If a co-commissioner also needs the settings, add them by name — the page itself suggests it.

Giving someone access

  1. Open League → Front Office and pick the League Access tab.
  2. Under Who Has Access, use Add a Person to pick them from your member list.
  3. Press Give League Access.

Only the league owner can add or remove people here. A person you have given access cannot give access to anybody else.

Choosing what they can touch

On the same tab, open Choose What They Can Touch — a checklist of every page of the dashboard. Tick the pages people with access may open, then press Save Access Settings. It never limits you, the owner.

Check All and Uncheck All do what they say — and Uncheck All followed by a save is a real setting, not a reset: it means "these helpers get nothing", and it saves that way.

Be careful unticking the Front Office rows themselves: a helper who loses this screen loses the only screen that could give it back. Only you, the owner, can restore it.

Commish Center access

The Commish Center is the commissioners' control screen — advance the week, settle a game, manage members. On the League Access tab, the Commish Center Access card decides who may open it, with Roles That Can Open It and People That Can Open It, then Save Commish Center Access.

Three things people get wrong about it:

  • Picking somebody here does not give them your league settings. That is the Who Has Access card, further up the same tab.
  • Whoever you pick still has to be a commissioner inside Madden itself, because those buttons change things in the game.
  • Leave both lists empty and it falls back to anyone who is a commissioner in Madden.

There is also a Same as League Access tick, which copies today's League Access people across once — later changes do not follow on their own.

The two Discord panels

At the bottom of the League Access tab, under Panels In Discord, you choose a channel for each of two self-updating messages:

  • Commissioner Panel — advance the week, set results, manage members, all from a Discord channel. Rebuild it now redraws it with this week's numbers, or replaces one that was deleted.
  • Force-Win Panel — a weekly list of the games nobody played, so a commissioner can pick a winner and let the week advance. Post this week's list now puts it up; after that it goes up every week on its own.

Where the game-day tools went

  • Force Win — deciding a game nobody played is now the Force Wins tab of the Gameday Hub, and it is also inside the Commish Center.
  • Force Advance and data refreshes — open League → Overview and tap the Commissioner Panel tile to reach the Commish Center, which carries the advance and EA data actions. Franchise Hub can read EA's data but never write to it, so nothing there touches your console or your league inside the game.
  • The commissioner and co-commissioner roles — set under Front Office → Special Roles.

Common problems

  • I gave someone the co-commissioner role and they still cannot open the dashboard. That is correct. Co-commissioner runs games in Discord. Add them by name under Front Office → League Access if they also need the settings.
  • I added someone to Commish Center access and the buttons still fail for them. They are getting in, but the actions themselves need them to be a commissioner inside Madden. Check that first.
  • A helper says a page is missing. Look at Choose What They Can Touch — an unticked page disappears from their menu entirely.
  • Nothing on the tab is editable for me. You are a commissioner rather than the owner. Who Has Access and Commish Center Access are owner-only.
  • Admin Commands — which roles may use each admin tool
  • Force Wins — the Gameday tab for settling unplayed games
  • Front Office → Special Roles — where the commissioner roles are set
