Short answer

The prize wheel is called Wheel Spin on your dashboard. Turn on the Wheel Spin switch on the Features page, then set the wheel up on the XP page's Wheel Spin tab: pick its channel, and look over the prizes. It is part of the XP economy, so the XP switch has to be on too — turning Wheel Spin off leaves the rest of the economy running.

Where to find it

On the website: open your league, click Features in the sidebar, and find the Wheel Spin switch. It sits under the XP switch, because it needs XP on.

In the app: tap More, then Features, and find the Wheel Spin switch.

What it does

Members spend spins and wheel tokens for a chance at prizes. Turning this off leaves the rest of the XP economy running.

The command members use

/spin — and the wheel itself is posted in the channel you pick, where members spin right from the post.

Step by step

  1. Go to Features and turn Wheel Spin on. If the switch has no control, turn XP on first — Wheel Spin needs it.
  2. Open XP in the sidebar and choose the Wheel Spin tab.
  3. In Where The Wheel Lives, pick a channel and click Save And Post The Wheel. The bot tidies that channel to keep the wheel on top, so pick one kept just for the wheel.
  4. In the same tab, turn on Let Members Spin and click Save The Wheel Switch.
  5. Look over What The Prizes Are and How Likely Each Prize Is before you announce it. The prizes are yours to set and the defaults are only a starting point.

It is contained

Off, the wheel stops and members stop collecting wheel tokens — and nothing else changes. XP, upgrades, betting and challenges all carry on. This is the opposite of the XP switch, which takes Betting, Wheel Spin and Daily Challenges with it.

Spins and tokens members already hold are kept, not deleted. Switch it back on and they are still there.

Common problems

  • The wheel gives away too much. That is the prize list, not the switch. Edit it on the XP page's Wheel Spin tab, under What The Prizes Are, and check How Likely Each Prize Is while you are there.
  • Members have spins they cannot use. Correct while the wheel is off. They keep them.
  • Turning it off stopped daily claims too. It should not. If it did, check whether the XP switch was turned off at the same time.
  • The wheel is on but nobody can spin. Two switches matter: Wheel Spin on the Features page, and Let Members Spin on the XP page's Wheel Spin tab. Check both, and check a channel is saved under Where The Wheel Lives.
  • I can't see this setting. If you are a helper rather than the licence owner, the owner controls which pages you see under Front Office → League Access. Ask them to grant you access.
