Where to find it
On a computer: in the left sidebar, click XP, then open the Rules & Setup tab. The picker is the XP Receipts box on the Where XP Gets Posted card.
On your phone: tap More, open XP under your league's Hubs, then pick Rules & Setup from the Choose a section dropdown.

Posts a receipt every time XP or tokens are handed out — grants, wheel wins, payouts and bonuses. This is the channel members actually watch.

Step by step
- Make a channel members can read. Most leagues call it
#xp-receiptsor#xp-feed. - Open the XP page and go to the Rules & Setup tab.
- On the Where XP Gets Posted card, pick your channel in the XP Receipts box and press
Save The XP Rooms. Each card saves on its own button, so saving another card does not save this one. - Hand out some XP with
/xp addand check the receipt lands.
What a receipt looks like
Every time XP or tokens move, a short card goes up: who got it, how much, and what for. Grants, wheel wins, event payouts and bonuses all share this feed, so there is one place to look when somebody asks where their XP went.
Commissioner adjustments made with /xp adjust are deliberately silent and do not post here — that is what "silently adjust" means on that command. They are recorded quietly instead of announced.
Read this before you turn it off
Post XP Receipts sits under the channel picker on the same card. Off, receipt cards are posted nowhere.
That is worth spelling out, because leaving the picker empty does not silence receipts. With the switch on and no channel picked, receipts fall through to your Upgrade Requests channel instead. The switch is the only real off.
Everything else carries on exactly as before:
- Every balance still moves — grants, wheel wins, payouts and bonuses all still land.
- Members can still check their own balance with
/xp. - Everything is still recorded, so nothing is lost while it is off.
- Your channel stays picked, so switching it back on needs no setting up.
Only the cards stop.
Common problems
- Members say XP is not working. Nine times out of ten this channel is not set, or Post XP Receipts is off, so nothing was ever announced. The XP moved; nobody saw it.
- Receipts stopped. Check Post XP Receipts is still on, then check the channel still exists and the bot can still post in it. A deleted channel is the usual cause.
- Receipts are showing up in my upgrade requests channel. That is the fallback: with Post XP Receipts on and this picker empty, receipts follow the Upgrade Requests channel. Pick a channel here to stop it.
- Nothing posts for
/xp adjust. Correct. Adjustments are silent on purpose. Use/xp addwhen you want members to see it. - I want a spare in case this one breaks. There is no backup box any more, and receipts never reroute on their own — if this channel breaks, repick it here. See Backup XP channel.
- I can't see this setting. If XP is missing from your sidebar, either the XP feature is switched off on the Features page, or — if you are a helper rather than the owner — you have not been given that page in Front Office → League Access.
