How do I set up Backup XP channel?
You don't — this box no longer exists. Set the XP receipts channel instead; that is the one that matters. If your league filled the backup box in back when it existed, it still quietly works the old way.
Where it went
The backup box was removed from the dashboard on purpose. It only ever did one job — catch receipts while the XP receipts channel was blank — and for a league set up today it has no job at all.
The channel to set is XP Receipts: in the left sidebar click XP, open the Rules & Setup tab, and pick it on the Where XP Gets Posted card. The full walkthrough is in XP receipts channel.
If your league set one long ago
Your saved channel was kept, not wiped, and it still behaves exactly as it used to:
- It is only used while the XP receipts channel is blank. The moment you set a receipts channel, the backup receives nothing.
- It is not a failover. If the receipts channel is deleted, or the bot loses access to it, receipts do not quietly reroute to the backup — they stop. The fix is to repick the receipts channel.
Common problems
- I had both set and only one gets receipts. Working as intended. The receipts channel wins whenever it is set.
- I wanted a spare in case the main one breaks. There is no failover, and there never was. If receipts stop, repick the XP Receipts channel on the XP page's Rules & Setup tab.
