How do I set prices?

Dashboard → your server → XP → the Upgrades tab for what upgrades cost, and the Earning tab for what wins and awards pay out. Each card saves on its own button — there is no single Save for the page.

Where to find it

On the website: Dashboard → your server → XP → the Upgrades tab (costs) and the Earning tab (payouts)

In the app: More → XP, then pick Upgrades or Earning from the XP sections dropdown

Three kinds of numbers, two tabs

The old single Prices tab was split up. Today:

  • Dev upgrade prices — what it costs to push a player up a tier — are on the Upgrades tab, in the What Upgrades Cost card.
  • Per-stat prices — what one point of Speed, Throw Power and every other rating costs — are in the same card, under Every Stat's Price. Stats are grouped into bands from Priciest to Cheapest so you can tune the expensive ones first, and Every Stat shows the whole list.
  • Payouts — how much XP a win, an award or a vote pays a team — are on the Earning tab, in the XP For Winning Things card.

Members can see what things cost with the /prices command in Discord, so it is worth running after a change to check it reads the way you expect.

Step by step

  1. Open XP → the Upgrades tab.
  2. In What Upgrades Cost, change the numbers you care about. Anything you leave alone keeps its current value — the normal amount is printed under each box.
  3. Press Save The Prices.
  4. For payouts, open the Earning tab, edit XP For Winning Things, and press Save The Payouts.

Turning a rating off completely

Open Every Stat's Price, find the stat, and untick Owners Can Buy This. That stat disappears from the upgrade flow rather than showing at a silly price.

If you want to stop all attribute upgrades and leave only dev upgrades, do not untick fifty stats one at a time. There is a single switch on the same tab: What Owners Can Buy → Attribute Upgrades. See Choose how players are upgraded.

Common problems

  • My change didn't take effect. You probably pressed the wrong Save button. Each card saves on its own; check you used the one directly under the numbers you edited.
  • Members say the price on their card is different. Check the Upgrade Style at the top of the Upgrades tab. When your league is on the style where the game rolls the stat, the per-stat prices are not what an owner pays — the cost is worked out for them.
  • A price came back after I saved it. Make sure you pressed Save The Prices and not a different card's button, and that nobody else was editing the same tab at the same time.
  • This tab is missing from my sidebar. The XP feature is switched off — turn it on at Features → XP.
