How do I set up League news feed channel?
Pick the channel for your league's news feed — the running social feed where AI reporters and members post about signings, upsets and draft buzz. Leave it blank and the feed stays off.
Where to find it
On the website: open Gameday in the sidebar, then the Newswire tab. The picker is under Where the Feed Lives: League news feed channel.
On your phone: More → Gameday → Choose a section → Newswire.
What it does
This is like your league's Twitter: AI reporters and members share signings, upsets and draft buzz in one social feed.
Step by step
- Make a channel members can read.

- Export your league so there is something to report on. The feed reacts to real results, so an empty league produces an empty feed.
What it actually posts
It reads like a sports Twitter feed for your league. Reporters react to games that just finished, trades that just landed, and players having a season. Members can post into it too, and the reporters react to them.
It only reports on things that happened. The feed is driven by your exported league data — results, trades, standings. A league that has not exported has nothing to talk about, and the feed will be quiet no matter how it is configured.
The feed paces itself: one story every five minutes, and at most ten in any 12 hours. The Newswire tab shows this, along with The Latest Stories — what has posted and what is waiting its turn. Under that list, an Open the story archive button opens every story the feed has ever written — the guide to it is the story archive.

Common problems
- The feed is silent. Either this channel is not set, or the league has not exported recently. Nothing is invented out of thin air.
- It posted about the wrong week. The feed reports on the last export. Advance and export, and it catches up.
- Too many posts. The feed already paces itself, but a busy league generates more. Give it its own channel rather than putting it in general chat.
- A reporter said something odd. Reporters are written from real results but the phrasing is generated. If one is consistently wrong about a fact rather than just flowery, that is worth reporting.
- I can't see this setting. The tab will say your commissioner has not shared this setting with you. Ask your league owner — they can grant it under Front Office → League Access.
