What to use instead
If your problem is that people do not notice new trades, the thing that works is the Announcement channel picker on the same tab:
- On the website: open Teams in the sidebar, then the Trades tab. On your phone: More → Teams → Choose a section → Trades.
- Under Channels, set Announcement channel to a different channel from the one your trades post into.
- Press Save channels.
Every new trade now drops a short message there — both team names and a link straight through to where the voting happens. That message pings the whole server, so nobody misses it.
If that is too loud for your league, the alternative is simply to keep trades in a channel people already watch.
Common problems
- Nobody notices trades. Set an announcement channel, as above. It must be a different channel from the one the trades themselves post into, or the bot skips it rather than posting twice into the same place.
- I cannot find the Trades tab. It hides when the feature is off. Turn on Trades on the Features page and the tab comes back.
