In a decisive Week 17 showdown, the Buffalo Bills cruised to a dominant 48-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins, solidifying their playoff positioning and sending a clear message ahead of the postseason. The Bills showcased their offensive prowess, while the Dolphins struggled to keep pace, ultimately falling short in front of their home crowd. Leading the way for Buffalo was quarterback Cam Ward, who threw for 171 yards and two touchdowns, efficiently orchestrating the offense throughout the game. Despite the loss, Miami's Patrick Mahomes made a notable impact on the ground, racking up 154 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to compensate for the Bills' offensive explosion. Chris Bell added a crucial 40 receiving yards, contributing to the Bills' well-rounded attack. Buffalo's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, with Khalil Mack recording two sacks to disrupt Miami's rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when a critical defensive stand by the Bills halted a promising Dolphins drive, allowing Buffalo to extend their lead and seize control of the game. With a commanding performance on both sides of the ball, the Bills proved they are a force to be reckoned with as the playoffs approach.
