In a high-scoring affair, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New Orleans Saints 48-28 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. With both teams looking to assert their dominance early in the year, the Jaguars came out firing and secured a decisive victory on the road. C.J. Stroud was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 436 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Quinshon Judkins added a solid ground game with 96 rushing yards, while Caleb Douglas was a favorite target, racking up 197 receiving yards. Together, they formed an explosive offensive trio that overwhelmed the Saints' defense. Defensively, the Jaguars made key plays that shifted momentum, with Kenneth Grant recording two sacks and Trent McDuffie snagging an interception. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Grant's pressure led to a crucial turnover, allowing Jacksonville to capitalize and extend their lead. The Saints struggled to recover from that moment, as the Jaguars' defense tightened up in the second half, securing their victory.
