The Seattle Seahawks topped the San Francisco 49ers 34-24 in a crucial Week 12 matchup that solidified Seattle's position in the playoff race. Both teams came into this game with high aspirations, but it was the Seahawks who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower against a formidable rival. Brock Purdy had a standout performance for the 49ers, throwing for 200 yards and three touchdowns while also leading the team on the ground with 71 rushing yards. However, it was Rashid Shaheed of the Seahawks who shined in the receiving game, racking up 88 yards and contributing significantly to Seattle's scoring efforts. The offensive duel kept fans on the edge of their seats, but ultimately, the Seahawks' balanced attack proved too much for San Francisco. On the defensive side, the Seahawks made key plays that shifted momentum, including a sack from Byron Murphy II that disrupted Purdy's rhythm. Though the 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir led with five tackles and Ashtyn Davis recorded an interception, it was Seattle's late defensive stands that sealed the win. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Seahawks' defense forced a critical turnover, allowing them to maintain their lead and secure the victory.
