In a thrilling Week 12 showdown, the Los Angeles Chargers narrowly defeated the New England Patriots with a final score of 52-46, keeping their playoff hopes alive in the 2026 season. Both teams showcased high-octane offenses, but it was the Chargers who ultimately emerged victorious in this offensive slugfest. Justin Herbert was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 397 yards and five touchdowns, leading his team to crucial scoring drives. Omarion Hampton contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 106 rushing yards, while Isaac TeSlaa exploded as a receiving threat with an impressive 201 yards. The Chargers' offense was firing on all cylinders, making it difficult for the Patriots' defense to keep pace. On the defensive side, the Chargers made key plays that turned the tide of the game. Roquan Smith led the defense with eight total tackles, while Daiyan Henley recorded an interception that halted a potential game-tying drive from the Patriots. Khalil Mack added pressure with half a sack, but it was the timely defensive stops that proved crucial in securing this hard-fought victory for Los Angeles.
