In a tightly contested matchup, the Washington Commanders narrowly defeated the Arizona Cardinals 14-11 in Week 12 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for crucial playoff positioning, the stakes were high, and every point mattered as the game unfolded in front of a spirited crowd. Offensively, the Commanders found success primarily on the ground, led by Jacory Croskey-Merritt's impressive 112 rushing yards. Quarterback Jayden Daniels contributed significantly with a passing touchdown, providing just enough support to secure the victory. For the Cardinals, Carson Beck threw for 174 yards but struggled to find the end zone, leaving the offense just short of a breakthrough performance. Defensively, the game was marked by a relentless effort from both sides, but the Cardinals were unable to capitalize on their chances. Darius Robinson led the Cardinals' defensive charge with 1.5 sacks, while Mack Wilson Sr. anchored the unit with 12 total tackles. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Commanders' defense tightened up, forcing a crucial turnover that allowed them to maintain their slim lead and ultimately seal the win.
