In a commanding performance, the Green Bay Packers triumphed over the Chicago Bears with a final score of 58-19 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. This decisive victory keeps the Packers firmly in contention as they assert their dominance within the division. Leading the charge for Green Bay was quarterback Jordan Love, who threw for an impressive 435 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his ability to read the field and connect with his targets. Wide receiver Matthew Golden was a standout performer, racking up 228 receiving yards, making him a nightmare for the Bears' secondary. On the ground, D'Andre Swift of the Bears put up a notable 111 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the explosive Packers offense. Defensively, the Packers were relentless, with Micah Parsons recording two sacks and Javon Bullard contributing significantly with three tackles and an interception. The game’s turning point came in the second quarter when Love found Golden for a 75-yard touchdown strike, igniting a scoring barrage that left the Bears reeling. Green Bay's ability to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers proved decisive, as they effectively stifled any hopes of a Chicago comeback.
