In a dominant display, the Los Angeles Chargers triumphed over the Denver Broncos with a resounding final score of 48-0 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. This victory not only solidifies the Chargers' position in the standings but also serves as a stark warning to the rest of the league about their offensive firepower. Justin Herbert led the charge for Los Angeles, throwing for an impressive 347 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his elite passing skills. Supporting him was Omarion Hampton, who rushed for 97 yards, while Oronde Gadsden emerged as a key target with 104 receiving yards. The Chargers' offensive rhythm was relentless, leaving the Broncos' defense scrambling all game long. While the Chargers' offense was firing on all cylinders, the defense played a pivotal role in the shutout. Cam Hart's interception and the pressure applied by the defensive unit, including Zach Allen's 1.5 sacks, kept the Broncos from finding any rhythm. The game's turning point came early when the Chargers' defense forced a turnover, allowing Herbert to capitalize immediately, setting the tone for a one-sided affair.
