In a closely contested Week 3 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 16-15. This victory keeps the Buccaneers in contention early in the season, while the Vikings will look to regroup after a tough loss. Brock Purdy led the Buccaneers' offense with two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to deliver in crucial moments. Caleb Williams put up solid numbers for the Vikings, throwing for 202 yards, but was unable to find the end zone. Quinshon Judkins contributed significantly on the ground with 85 rushing yards, while Davante Adams led the receiving corps with 78 yards. Defensively, the Buccaneers were bolstered by Will McDonald IV's two sacks, which helped disrupt the Vikings' passing game. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when a crucial interception by Josh Metellus was not enough to swing the momentum in Minnesota's favor. Despite Metellus' standout performance, Tampa Bay's defense held strong when it mattered most, sealing the game with a late stop.
