In a commanding performance, the New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30-0 in their Week 1 matchup of the 2026 season. The Giants' dominance sets a strong tone for the season, while the Cowboys will need to regroup after a lackluster offensive showing. Drew Allar led the way for the Giants, throwing for 190 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to manage the game effectively. Eli Stowers was a standout target, hauling in 80 receiving yards, while the Giants' offensive unit consistently moved the ball against a struggling Cowboys defense. Dallas struggled to establish any rhythm, highlighted by Javonte Williams' meager 26 rushing yards. Defensively, the Giants were relentless, with Lawrence Taylor contributing a sack and Nate Wiggins securing an interception to stifle any hopes of a Cowboys comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Wiggins picked off a pass, setting up a scoring drive that extended the Giants' lead to 24-0. The Cowboys' inability to respond left them in the dust as New York cruised to a dominant victory.
