In a thrilling Week 12 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 28-23, keeping their playoff hopes alive. With both teams vying for crucial positioning in the NFC, the stakes were high as they battled it out on the gridiron. Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold showcased his skills, throwing for 247 yards and two touchdowns, leading his team to victory. Tight end Evan Engram was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 78 yards and making key catches that kept Seattle's offense moving. Meanwhile, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy contributed on the ground with 57 rushing yards, but ultimately it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Seahawks made their presence felt, particularly through Derick Hall, who led the team with eight total tackles. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Seattle's defense tightened up, stifling San Francisco’s final drive and forcing them into a turnover on downs. Despite a strong effort from the 49ers, including an interception from Deommodore Lenoir, it was Seattle's balanced attack and defensive resilience that sealed the victory.
