The Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Atlanta Falcons 35-32 in a thrilling Week 7 matchup that had playoff implications for both teams. With this win, the Texans maintain their momentum in the race for the postseason, while the Falcons face a critical juncture in their season. Trinadad Chambliss put on a spectacular performance for the Falcons, throwing for 424 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead Atlanta's offense down the field. However, Kewan Lacy was a standout for the Texans, rushing for 111 yards and playing a pivotal role in keeping Houston's offense balanced and effective throughout the game. Drake London also impressed for the Falcons, amassing 136 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory. Defensively, the Texans managed to apply pressure, with Logan Hall recording 1.5 sacks, helping to disrupt Chambliss's rhythm. Despite the Falcons' strong offensive showing, Houston's defense made critical stops when it mattered most, including a late-game turnover that shifted the momentum. The turning point came in the fourth quarter, when the Texans' defense held firm, allowing Houston to run out the clock and seal the victory.
