🏈 1ST & 10 MADDEN NATION RULEBOOK 🏈 Welcome to 1st & 10 Madden Nation! Our goal is to provide a competitive, realistic, and enjoyable Madden experience for everyone. Failure to follow these rules may result in warnings, game reversals, suspension, or removal from the league. 1️⃣ Respect & Sportsmanship * Be respectful to all league members. * No excessive trash talk, harassment, racism, hate speech, or personal attacks. * Win and lose with class. 2️⃣ No Quitting * Do not quit games. * You may concede: In the 3rd Quarter if trailing by 30+ points. * At any time during the 4th Quarter. 3️⃣ Defensive Rush Rule * You must rush a minimum of 3 defenders at all times. 4️⃣ No Nano Blitzes * No nano blitzes or exploits. * Do not blend linebackers, safeties, or corners into the defensive line to manipulate the offensive line's AI blocking assignments. 5️⃣ Play Cooldown * 4-Play Cooldown is enabled. * Learn your playbook and mix up your play calling. 6️⃣ Hurry-Up Offense * Hurry-up offense is allowed. * However, after 2 consecutive hurry-up plays, you must huddle before running another play. * During any 2-minute situation, this restriction does not apply. 7️⃣ QB Scramble Rule * No instant rollouts or sprinting directly to the sideline immediately after the snap trying to wait for recivers to break there routes. * You may scramble and run when legitimate running lanes are available. 8️⃣ Banned Plays * Certain plays may be banned throughout the season. * A dedicated #banned-plays channel will contain the current list of prohibited plays. * It is your responsibility to stay updated. 9️⃣ Chew Clock * Chew Clock may only be used: * If both players agree. * During the 4th Quarter with 3:00 or less remaining. 🔟 Play Calling Variety * Mix up your offense and defense. * Do not repeatedly run the same formation, concept, or play throughout the game. * Realistic football is expected. ⓫ Lag & Disconnect Policy * If you are experiencing lag, notify your opponent and a commissioner immediately. * Do not wait until you are losing before mentioning connection issues. ⓬ Custom Playbooks Allowed Disconnects: 1st Quarter- Game is restarted. * If a player was leading by 14+ points, those points carry over into the restart. 2nd or 3rd Quarter- Restart the game, Play 2 quarters. * Both players should treat the score as if it were the score when the disconnect occurred. 4th Quarter- Restart the game, Play 1 quarter. *Both players should treat the score as if it were the score when the disconnect occurred.
