How do I use Achievements → Tools?
Three blunt instruments: set one XP or one goal across a whole category at once, put every achievement back to how it started, and open the history of every change anyone has made.
Where to find it
On the website: click XP in the sidebar, then the Achievements tab, then Tools in the row of sections.
In the app: tap More, then XP, pick Achievements from the XP sections dropdown, then tap Tools.
What this section is for
Saving you from editing forty achievements one at a time — and from the mess that follows when you have.
Bulk edit by category
- Pick a Category.
- Under What to change, choose XP reward or Goal.
- Type the Value.
- Tick Confirm — the form will not submit without it — and press Apply to category.
Read this before you use it: it sets the same value on everything in that category. It does not scale the numbers or nudge them up by a percentage. If Trades achievements ran from 50 XP to 500 XP and you apply 200, they all become 200.
Only achievements that are turned on are changed. Ones that are off are skipped and keep whatever they had — so if you switch one on later, it comes back with its old number rather than the one you just set everywhere else.
Categories you have switched off are not in the dropdown at all.
Reset everything to defaults
Reset all to defaults puts every built-in achievement back to its original goal, its original XP and its original on/off setting. All your changes go at once and it cannot be undone.
Two things it does not touch:
- Your custom achievements — they are yours and are left alone.
- Anything members have already earned — unlocks and the XP already paid stay exactly as they are.
So a reset is a settings reset, not a wipe of your league's history.
Change history
The two buttons at the bottom open the change log, filtered to achievements. Open audit log (achievements) shows the on/off switching; Value changes + bulk actions shows number changes and the bulk actions from this page. Both show who did it and what it looked like before and after.
They open in a new tab, so you do not lose your place.
Common problems
- My change didn't take effect. The Confirm tick is required. If you skipped it, nothing was sent.
- Some achievements in the category didn't change. They were switched off at the time. Bulk edit skips anything that is off.
- The category I want isn't in the list. You switched that whole category off on the All Achievements section. Turn it back on there and it reappears here.
- I reset by accident. There is no undo. The change history will tell you what the numbers used to be, so you can put the important ones back by hand.
- I can't find this section at all. It lives on the XP Hub. If the XP Hub is missing from your sidebar, the XP switch is off in the Features Hub — switch it on to reach the Achievements tab.
