How do I use Achievements → All Achievements?

Where to find it

On the website: click XP in the sidebar, then the Achievements tab, then All Achievements in the row of sections.

In the app: tap More, then XP, pick Achievements from the XP sections dropdown, then tap All Achievements.

What this section is for

Deciding which achievements your league actually uses, and what they are worth.

Across the top are five counts — how many achievements exist, how many are On, how many are Off, how many have Custom values (numbers you changed), and how many Total unlocks have been earned all-time.

Under those is a row of category pills (Trades, Betting, and so on). Each pill does two jobs:

• Click the name to show only that category.
• Click the small switch on the right of the pill to turn the whole category off. Members stop earning anything in that category until you turn it back on — and it asks you to confirm before it does it.

Then comes the list itself. Each row is one achievement: its name, its category, its Goal, its XP reward, and its Status switch.

Step by step

1. Open XP → Achievements → All Achievements.
2. Flick the Status switch on any row to turn that achievement on or off. It saves as soon as you flick it.
3. To change a goal or an XP reward, press Edit on the row. That opens the achievement's own page, where you change the numbers and save.
4. Any number you change is marked on the list afterwards — the row shows what it is now and what it normally would be ("Normally 10"), so you can always tell what you have altered.
5. To hide a whole group at once, use the switch on the category pill instead of turning off twenty rows one at a time.

What else is on an achievement's Edit page

Besides the goal and the XP reward, the Edit page carries two things worth knowing about:

• Discord preview — exactly what the celebration message will look like when somebody earns it.
• Give a role when earned — hand out a Discord role alongside the XP.

There is no way to test a goal before you set it on a built-in achievement. The Preview unlock count button, which tells you how many teams would have earned something, only appears on achievements you wrote yourself — see Achievements → Custom. For the built-in ones, the numbers on the list are your guide.

The bit people miss

If a row says off with its category, nobody turned that achievement off by hand — the category switch did it. Turning the row back on will not stick until you turn the category back on first.

That message exists because the alternative was commissioners quietly blaming each other for switching things off.

Common problems

• My change didn't take effect. Row switches save themselves. Goals and XP do not — those live on the Edit page and need its Save button.
• I turned one on and members still can't earn it. Check the category pill above the list. A category switched off overrules the individual rows underneath it.
• The list is empty. You have a category filter on. Click All on the far left of the pill row.
• I've changed so much I don't know what's standard any more. Every changed number is shown next to what it normally is. If you want a clean slate, Tools → Reset everything to defaults puts the whole list back.
• I can't find this list at all. It lives on the XP Hub. If the XP Hub is missing from your sidebar, the XP switch is off in the Features Hub — achievements keep working without XP, but their settings sit inside the XP Hub, so switch XP on to reach them.
