Directory Boost Tiers

Make your league stand out on the public Franchise Hub Leagues directory at https://franchisehub.gg/leagues. Boost tiers are an optional, one-time 30-day purchase that lifts your listing above free entries, adds a colored accent, and applies a tier badge — nothing else about your league or the bot changes.

At a glance

Pricing is in USD and charged once. There is no recurring subscription — your card is charged a single time and the boost lasts 30 days. To extend, buy again from the listing editor.

Where boost tiers appear

1. On the public directory grid (/leagues)

The directory sorts in Featured order by default:

1. Gold tier listings, newest first
2. Silver tier listings, newest first
3. Bronze tier listings, newest first
4. Free tier listings, newest first

A facet bar lets visitors filter to GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, or Any boost to find boosted leagues only. Each card carries a tier-colored pill in the top-left so recruits can spot a paid listing instantly.

2. On the listing detail page (/leagues/{slug})

Gold listings receive a gold gradient accent, silver gets a shimmer treatment, bronze gets a warm copper stripe. Free listings render in the default neutral palette.

What's included at each tier

Each tier is strictly additive — Silver is Bronze plus more, Gold is Silver plus more.

Bronze ($4.99 / 30 days)

Silver ($7.99 / 30 days)

• Everything in Bronze
• Silver shimmer accent on your detail page
• Sort position above every BRONZE listing

Gold ($10.00 / 30 days)

• Featured placement at the top of the directory grid

All boost-tier benefits are directory presentation only. The boost does not unlock any bot feature, change your license tier, or affect how Franchise Hub processes your league data. The XP economy, sportsbook, scenarios, watchers, and all other features behave identically regardless of boost tier.

How buying works

1. From the dashboard, open Server → Listing for your guild.
2. Publish your listing if you haven't already (you can't boost a draft).
3. Tick the "I agree to begin service immediately" checkbox (EU/UK customers — this waives your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16(m); see Terms §8.1).
4. Click Buy Bronze, Buy Silver, or Buy Gold.
5. Stripe Checkout opens. Pay with card. On success you return to the listing editor with the new tier applied and the badge live on /leagues within seconds.

Checkout is processed by Stripe. Franchise Hub never sees your card details.

"Active — extend" buttons

If you already own a paid tier, the matching button on the listing editor changes from "Buy Tier" to "Active — extend." Buying the same tier while still active adds 30 days on top of your existing expiry — you never lose paid time you bought.

Buying a different tier (upgrade or downgrade) resets the clock to 30 days from now at the new tier. That's a fair trade for the visual change.

Expiry and renewal

• Every paid tier has an explicit boostExpiresAt timestamp.
• On the listing editor, you'll see an EXPIRES IN Xd pill next to your tier badge.
• When the expiry is 7 days or less away, a yellow "Boost expiring soon" banner appears at the top of the editor: "your GOLD tier ends in 5 days. After expiry the listing drops to FREE and loses its colored accent + above-fold sort placement."
• At expiry, the bot lazily demotes your listing to free the next time anyone (you, a visitor, the sort job) reads it. The change is permanent until you buy again.
• There is no auto-renew. We will not charge you a second time without a fresh checkout. To stay boosted past 30 days, buy again before (or after) the current period expires.

Refunds

All boost purchases are non-refundable by default (see Terms §8). However:

• If you contact the support Discord and the operator chooses to issue a refund via the Stripe dashboard, our charge.refunded webhook automatically reverts your listing to the free tier the moment the refund posts.
• Your listing stays in the directory — it just loses the boost styling and sort position. You don't have to re-publish.

Manual refunds are at the operator's sole discretion per the Terms. The fastest path to a refund discussion is the Franchise Hub support Discord.

Comp tiers (no Stripe)

When Stripe isn't yet configured on a deployment (e.g., self-hosted instances during initial setup), the "Buy" buttons are replaced with: "Checkout offline — Stripe isn't configured on this deployment yet. Ping a master admin in the support Discord for a comp tier grant."

Master admins can grant any tier from /admin/directory for a custom duration (1–730 days, or indefinite for free). Comp grants follow the same extend/replace semantics as paid checkouts.

FAQ

Does buying a boost give my server any extra Discord bot features? No. Boost tiers affect directory presentation only. Every slash command, every dashboard surface, every game-day automation behaves identically whether you're free or gold.

Can I cancel mid-period and get a prorated refund? We don't prorate. The full 30-day boost is delivered at checkout. If you stop wanting the boost, the simplest path is to wait for the period to lapse — your listing automatically returns to free at that point.

Will I be charged again at the end of 30 days? No. Boost tiers are one-time payments, not subscriptions. You will only be charged when you actively click a "Buy" button.

Can I have multiple boosts stacked? You can have one active boost tier at a time. Re-buying the same tier extends the period (adds 30 days). Upgrading/downgrading resets to 30 days at the new tier.

Where do I see my current tier and expiry? Dashboard → Server → Listing. The status pills at the top of the page show your active tier and remaining days.

My boost expired but my listing is still gone from the gold filter — bug? That's expected. After expiry, your listing demotes to the free tier and only appears under the Any or Free filter pill on /leagues. The listing itself is still live.
