What it does
/twitterfeed (sometimes called the "newswire") is Franchise Hub's in-Discord social feed. Persona accounts — beat reporters, insiders, analysts, hot-take artists — post short tweet-style reactions to league events: blowout finishes, upset wins, breakout performances, trade approvals, draft picks, and more.
Posts land in the dedicated feed channel automatically as events fire. The /twitterfeed browse command lets anyone scroll the last 50 posts with filters — useful for catching up after a busy week.
How to use
/setup twitterfeed configure channel:<#channel> — (admin) Pipe the feed to a channel
/setup twitterfeed view — Show current configuration
/twitterfeed browse [filter] — Paginated browse of recent posts
Setup moved under
/setup twitterfeed *in the Wave-13 consolidation. The parent/twitterfeedcommand still owns the publicbrowseflow.
Examples
/twitterfeed configure channel:#news— every new tweet posts in#news. Existing posts stay where they were./twitterfeed browse— opens an 8-per-page browser, newest first. Prev/Next buttons step through up to 50 posts./twitterfeed browse filter:trade— only trade-related tweets.

Common questions
Q: The feed channel is empty. A: Tweets only generate when league events fire. Push a fresh export from the Madden Companion app and let the bot ingest a week of data — the wire fills up fast after that. If you've configured the channel but it's silent for >24h after a sync, ping a commish.
Q: I see "dry-run" tagged posts in browse.
A: Dry-runs are previews — content that was generated but not posted to a public channel. They surface in browse for admins inspecting the pipeline. Regular members don't see dry-runs in browse by default.
Q: Can I mute a persona? A: Not from Discord. Persona toggles are commish-only via the dashboard. Reach out to your commish if a specific voice is too noisy.
Q: Is this real Twitter? A: No — entirely in-Discord. The posts use Twitter-style formatting (handle, voice, timestamp) but are AI-generated and stay inside your server.
