What it does
/trade runs the full league-trade workflow: list players you're shopping, browse the league trade block, send trade screenshots for league vote, track approvals and denials, and (for commissioners) veto bad deals or freeze the trade window with a deadline.
Trades support optional XP in either direction. Votes count from a configurable role (or anyone) and approve based on a votes-required threshold + percentage threshold both set per league.

Setup / configuration is now under /setup trade configure (Wave-13 consolidation). The old /trade setup and /trade settings were merged into a single dashboard-mirrored config surface there.

Common questions
Q: Why do I need a screenshot? A: Trades happen in-game in Madden. The screenshot is the immutable proof of what was actually swapped — the vote is on the deal as shown in the screenshot, not on text the proposer types.
Q: Who can vote?
A: By default anyone in the server. If your admin set a voter_role, only members with that role count. Vote totals + required percentage are visible at the top of every trade forum post.
Q: A trade got denied — can I resubmit?
A: Yes. Cancel the old one or wait for finalization, then /trade send again. Vote results don't carry over.
Q: The trade deadline is active and I can't submit.
A: The commish has frozen trading via /trade deadline action:on. Wait until they lift it.
