What it does
/draft_class_lookup gives commissioners a full read on the current draft class — every prospect, every rating, no XP cost. Use it to QC the class before posting a public scout embed, to spot data issues from a bad FBCHUNKS export, or to spot-check a prospect a member is asking about.
Admin or commish role required. Members should use /scout instead — same data, scoped by scouting tier.
How to use
/draft_class_lookup — Full board, paginated
/draft_class_lookup position:QB — Filter by position
/draft_class_lookup search:<name> — Find a specific prospect
The response uses pagination buttons (Prev / Next / Jump to page) to step through the class. Default sort is overall rating descending; sort can be flipped via the embed dropdowns.
Notes
- Output is ephemeral by default — only you see it. Use the dashboard's draft class viewer if you need to share.
- Position filter accepts the standard Madden position codes (QB, HB, FB, WR, TE, LT, LG, C, RG, RT, LE, RE, DT, LOLB, MLB, ROLB, CB, FS, SS, K, P).
- Search matches partial names case-insensitively.
- If no class is loaded, the bot prompts you to run
/draft_class_uploadfirst.
Common questions
Q: A prospect shows wrong attributes.
A: That's an export-side issue from Madden, not the bot. Re-export the class from your franchise and re-upload via /draft_class_upload.
Q: Can I edit prospects manually? A: No — there's no in-bot editor. The bot displays what the FBCHUNKS file contains.
Q: How is this different from /scout?
A: /scout is the member-facing entry point with XP-tiered scouting (you pay XP to see deeper attributes). /draft_class_lookup is the admin override with full data and no XP cost.
