Note: the
/bet insightsgroup and/bet resolveare no longer registered slash commands (2026-07-03) — those moved to the dashboard. Re-settling a week is now Settle A Week Again on the XP Hub's Betting tab. Member-facing bet placement, history and active-bet views are open to everyone.
What it does
/bet is the entry point to the Franchise Hub sportsbook. /bet board shows this week's slate; press Bet on a game, pick legs from the dropdowns (moneyline, spread, total, player props), set the amount with Change stake, and press Place Bet. Every leg settles automatically when its game finishes.
One slip can hold legs from several games — press Add Game to add another game to the slip you are already building. Each game grades its own legs, and the ticket pays once the last of them is final.
Stakes are per league. There is no product-wide range. Smallest Bet and Biggest Bet live on the XP Hub's Betting tab (a commissioner can also set them per command, or per team), and the slip prints the league's real range above the Change stake button. /bet help prints the same numbers for the server you are in.
Tail-the-pick buttons on every posted parlay let other league members copy the bet with their own stake.
How to use
/bet board — This week's games and lines (the front door)
/bet parlay — Also opens the board; no options
/bet active — View your open bets
/bet mybets — Alias of /bet active
/bet history — Your settled-bet history
/bet help — Learn how betting works, with THIS league's limits
/bet wager create amount:<xp> — Head-to-head XP wager against your week opponent

Examples
/bet board— the slate, with a Bet button on every open game./bet parlay— same board. Both options it used to take (gameandstake) were removed on 2026-09-07: a registered choice list is identical on every server, so it could never match a league's own bet sizes./bet active— see every parlay you've placed that hasn't settled./bet history— settled bets, profit/loss running totals, and recent results.

Common questions
Q: What's the max stake?
A: Whatever your league set. The slip names the range above the Change stake button, the typing box repeats it in its label, and an out-of-range figure is refused with both numbers named. /bet help prints the league's min stake, max stake and leg cap.
Q: What does the slip open at? A: The league's smallest bet, so the first click can never be refused. Press Change stake to raise it.
Q: How many legs can a parlay have?
A: Per league — the Games In One Parlay box under Bet Sizes. The slip shows where you are (Legs 3/5). Payouts cap at 25x the stake (raised from 10x on 2026-09-07).
Q: How are odds calculated? A: The v2 odds engine pulls Madden ratings, recent form, home/away splits, and matchup data. Lines update before each game; once a bet locks at place-time, the odds you see are the odds you settle at.
Q: When do bets settle? A: Automatically by the settlement worker after each game is reported in EA's hub. A slip covering several games settles when the last one lands. If a stat sync was late, a commissioner runs Settle A Week Again on the XP Hub's Betting tab — it re-checks every bet on the week, stuck head-to-head wagers included, and is safe to run twice; nothing pays out a second time.
Q: A game was force-won or simmed — what happens to legs on it? A: They grade as a push. A pushed leg multiplies at 1.0, so it neither wins nor loses; a ticket that is all pushes refunds the stake. Player stats are empty on an unplayed game, which would otherwise auto-lose every OVER and auto-win every UNDER.
Q: I lost on a result that the box score says I won.
A: Madden's GameResult enum has a quirk where status === 1 means not played, not played. The bot's check has been corrected, but if you see this for a historical bet ping a commish and they can re-settle the week from the dashboard.
Q: Where do bets post? A: In the channels your commissioner wired on the XP Hub's Betting tab — Where Members Place Bets and Where Results Are Posted.
