In a thrilling Week 18 matchup, the Sacramento Banditz narrowly defeated the Houston Comets by a score of 26-20, securing their playoff hopes in a tightly contested battle. With the stakes high as the season drew to a close, both teams fought fiercely for a chance at postseason glory. Justin Herbert led the Banditz with an impressive 295 passing yards, showcasing his arm strength and precision under pressure. On the other side, Anthony Richardson Sr. threw for two touchdowns, keeping the Comets in the game until the very end. However, it was Bryce Lance who stole the show for Sacramento, racking up 131 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable target for Herbert throughout the contest. Defensively, the game was marked by key plays that swung momentum. Derwin James Jr. secured an interception for the Banditz, halting a potential scoring drive from the Comets and shifting the tide in favor of Sacramento. The Banditz defense held strong when it mattered most, allowing only 20 points and making crucial stops that helped them seal the victory in a hard-fought struggle.
