In a commanding performance, the Sacramento Banditz topped the Bar Harbor Sailors with a final score of 59-14 in Week 5 of the 2027 season. This decisive victory not only bolstered the Banditz's standing but also showcased their offensive firepower and defensive prowess against a struggling Sailors squad. Leading the charge for Bar Harbor was quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr, who threw for 251 yards and two touchdowns, but it was the Banditz's Lance Choice who stole the spotlight, racking up an astonishing 301 rushing yards. His explosive play kept the chains moving and allowed Sacramento to dominate time of possession. Meanwhile, Bar Harbor's Luke Musgrave contributed with 57 receiving yards, but the team struggled to keep pace. Defensively, the Banditz were relentless, with Aidan Hutchinson making his mark with 1.5 sacks and Dominique Hampton securing two interceptions, both of which swung momentum in Sacramento's favor. A crucial turning point came early in the second quarter when Hampton's first interception led to a quick touchdown, putting the Banditz up by three scores and effectively sealing the game. The Sailors were unable to recover from that blow, as Sacramento continued to pile on the points en route to a decisive win.
