In a thrilling showdown, the Honolulu Riptides narrowly defeated the Ancgorage Frost with a final score of 41-34 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. This victory keeps the Riptides in contention for the playoffs, while the Frost will need to regroup as they look to bounce back in the coming weeks. Joe Burrow was the star of the night for the Riptides, throwing for five touchdowns and guiding his team through a high-scoring affair. Garrett Wilson was a key target, racking up 145 receiving yards, while Bucky Irving contributed with 82 rushing yards, helping to maintain a balanced offensive attack. Trevor Lawrence also had a standout performance for the Frost, throwing for 408 yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Riptides shined with Chris Jones leading the charge, recording four sacks that disrupted the Frost's rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Burrow connected with Wilson for a touchdown, extending the lead and putting the pressure on Ancgorage. Despite a valiant effort from Marcus Jones, who made six tackles and grabbed an interception, the Frost couldn't complete the comeback, ultimately falling short.
