The Salt Lake Paladins topped the Toronto BlueJays 34-21 in a Week 7 showdown that solidified their position in the playoff race. With both teams eager to secure crucial wins, the Paladins emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Aaron Rodgers led the charge for Salt Lake, throwing for 311 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating his experience and poise under pressure. The Paladins utilized a balanced attack, while Omarion Hampton of the BlueJays put up a solid performance with 61 rushing yards, and Alfonso Larson dazzled with 121 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Salt Lake's offensive rhythm. Defensively, Genesis Smith made his mark with a game-high eight total tackles, helping to stifle Toronto's scoring opportunities. The turning point came when Bobby Wagner intercepted a crucial pass, shifting momentum back to the Paladins and sealing the victory. Jonathan Allen also made his presence felt with two sacks, but it was Salt Lake's overall defensive effort that ultimately paved the way for their win.
