In a commanding performance, the Las Vegas Lotus topped the Phoenix Inferno 31-7 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The victory was crucial for the Lotus as they look to establish themselves early in the season, displaying dominance on both sides of the ball. Malik Willis led the way for Las Vegas, throwing for 274 yards and showcasing his ability to move the offense effectively. Will Shipley was a force on the ground, rushing for 111 yards, while Justin Jefferson had a standout day receiving with 133 yards, creating mismatches against the Inferno defense. The Lotus' offensive production proved too much for Phoenix to handle. On the defensive side, the Lotus made key plays that helped secure the win, including an interception from Jack Campbell that shifted momentum in their favor. Despite Bobby Okereke's ten tackles for the Inferno, the defense struggled to contain the Lotus' explosive plays. The turning point came in the second quarter when Las Vegas scored back-to-back touchdowns, leaving Phoenix unable to recover.
