In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the Seattle Scouts topped the Tucson Scorpions 30-22, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season winds down. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the Scouts who came out on top, showcasing their offensive and defensive prowess. Leading the way for Seattle was quarterback Steve Leno, who threw for two touchdowns, while Dwayne Hall dominated on the ground with 142 rushing yards. Wide receiver Nico Collins was also a standout, racking up 116 receiving yards, providing Leno with a reliable target throughout the game. Despite a strong performance from Tucson's Jalen Milroe, who tossed for 287 yards, it wasn't enough to overcome the Scouts' offensive firepower. On the defensive side, the Scouts made their mark with key contributions from Devin Bush, who recorded eight total tackles, and Jonathon Cooper, who notched two sacks. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Cooper's pressure forced a crucial turnover, allowing Seattle to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the victory. The Scouts' ability to capitalize on defensive opportunities proved vital in this hard-fought contest.
