In a commanding performance, the Denver Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 36-3 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Broncos continue to establish themselves as a formidable contender, while the Chargers struggle to find their footing as the season progresses. Bo Nix was the standout player for Denver, throwing for 290 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense. J.K. Dobbins added 82 rushing yards, providing a balanced attack, while Jaylen Waddle led the receiving corps with an impressive 96 yards. Together, they created an offensive explosion that kept the Chargers on the back foot throughout the game. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with a pivotal interception by Talanoa Hufanga, which turned the momentum firmly in their favor. While Bud Dupree managed to record a sack for Los Angeles, it was the Broncos' ability to pressure the Chargers' offense that proved crucial. The turning point came late in the first half when Hufanga's interception set up a quick touchdown, effectively sealing the game and leaving the Chargers with little chance of a comeback.
