The Cincinnati Bengals topped the Washington Commanders 35-24 in a Week 11 showdown that had playoff implications for both teams. With this victory, the Bengals solidified their position in the playoff race, while the Commanders faced a critical setback in their quest for postseason contention. Joe Burrow was the star of the night for Cincinnati, throwing for 258 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his elite passing ability. Chase Brown contributed significantly on the ground with 95 rushing yards, while Ja'Marr Chase led the receiving corps with 85 yards, making key catches that kept the chains moving and the defense guessing. Defensively, the Bengals were able to stifle the Commanders' offense at pivotal moments, forcing them into tough situations. The game turned when Burrow connected on a 40-yard touchdown pass that shifted momentum in the second half, allowing Cincinnati to pull away. Despite the best efforts of Washington's Quan Martin, who recorded six total tackles, the Commanders couldn't overcome the Bengals' offensive firepower.
