In a strong start to the 2026 season, the New England Patriots topped the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 22-10. Both teams were looking to make a statement in Week 1, but it was the Patriots who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and solid defense. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, passing for 280 yards and throwing one touchdown. He connected frequently with Kyle Williams, who was a standout in the receiving game with 113 yards. On the ground, the Patriots were less dominant, but their aerial attack was more than enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Christian Barmore recording two sacks and Robert Spillane adding an interception to stifle any Seahawks rallies. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Spillane's interception halted a promising Seattle drive, allowing New England to maintain momentum and control the game. With a balanced offensive effort and a stout defense, the Patriots set the tone for what could be a promising season.
