The Dallas Cowboys topped the Washington Commanders 35-17 in a decisive Week 18 matchup, securing their playoff position with a commanding performance. With the stakes high as both teams aimed for postseason momentum, the Cowboys showcased their offensive prowess and defensive resilience, ultimately outlasting the Commanders. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Dallas, throwing for 314 yards and four touchdowns, demonstrating both precision and poise in the pocket. Bijan Robinson contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 91 rushing yards, while the receiving corps kept the Commanders' defense off balance. Despite the loss, Rashee Rice shone for Washington, amassing an impressive 154 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Defensively, the Cowboys managed to limit Washington's scoring opportunities, forcing key turnovers and applying constant pressure. The game turned in the third quarter when Dallas intercepted a pass that shifted the momentum firmly in their favor, allowing them to maintain control and seal the victory. Nick Bolton stood out for Washington with ten total tackles, but the team's effort fell short against a relentless Dallas offense.
