The Houston Texans cruised to a dominant 42-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 17 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff positioning with an emphatic win. With the stakes high for both teams, the Texans showcased their offensive prowess while the Packers struggled to keep pace. Joe Burrow was the standout performer for Houston, throwing for an impressive 421 yards and five touchdowns, effectively dismantling the Packers' defense. Eli Stowers added to the offensive fireworks with 134 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target for Burrow. Meanwhile, the Packers’ Jaylen Warren was the lone bright spot on offense, rushing for 85 yards but failing to spark any sustained drives. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with TJ Parker leading the charge with three sacks, constantly pressuring the Packers’ offense. Kelee Ringo contributed with four total tackles, helping to stifle any potential scoring threats. The turning point came early in the second half when Burrow connected for a touchdown pass that extended the lead to 28-3, leaving Green Bay unable to recover.
