In a thrilling Week 17 showdown, the Cincinnati Bengals narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 62-55, solidifying their playoff position as the regular season winds down. This high-stakes matchup featured both teams battling for momentum, but it was the Bengals who emerged victorious in a game that showcased explosive offensive firepower. Drake Maye led the charge for the Ravens, throwing for 308 yards and three touchdowns, but it was Demond Claiborne of the Bengals who stole the spotlight with a staggering 259 rushing yards, proving nearly impossible to contain. Adding to the Bengals' offensive success was Dont'e Thornton Jr., who contributed significantly with 98 receiving yards, creating big plays that kept the Ravens' defense on its heels. Defensively, the Bengals made crucial stops when it mattered most, spearheaded by Robert Spears-Jennings who recorded a sack and Jermod McCoy with an interception that shifted the momentum late in the game. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when McCoy's pick set up Claiborne's final touchdown run, sealing the victory and leaving the Ravens scrambling for a last-minute response they ultimately could not muster.
