In a decisive Week 16 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 38-15, solidifying their playoff positioning. With both teams vying for crucial momentum as the season nears its conclusion, the Cowboys showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball. C.J. Stroud put forth a commendable effort for the Jaguars, throwing for 319 yards and two touchdowns, with Justin Jefferson emerging as his top target, racking up 183 receiving yards. However, the Cowboys' offensive attack was more balanced, with Bijan Robinson contributing 42 rushing yards to keep the Jaguars' defense guessing. Defensively, the Cowboys made a significant impact, led by Kevin Byard III, who snagged two interceptions, crucial in shifting momentum in favor of Dallas. Aaron Donald also added pressure with a sack, while the Jaguars struggled to contain the Cowboys' explosive plays. The turning point came when Byard's second interception set up a pivotal touchdown, widening the gap and allowing Dallas to control the tempo for the remainder of the game.
