In a tightly contested battle, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Arizona Cardinals 16-8 in Week 15 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, both teams fought hard, but the Jets emerged victorious, securing their position in the postseason race. Jalen Hurts showcased his talent for the Cardinals, throwing for 202 yards, but it was Chris Brazzell II of the Jets who stole the spotlight with an impressive 100 receiving yards. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson contributed significantly to Arizona’s efforts on the ground, racking up 90 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to clinch the win for his team. Defensively, the game was marked by strong performances, particularly from Troy Andersen, who led the Cardinals with seven total tackles. However, the turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Riq Woolen intercepted a crucial pass, stifling any hopes of a Cardinals comeback and allowing the Jets to maintain their lead. The Jets’ defense held firm, ultimately sealing the victory and their playoff aspirations.
